Fiberglass Rooftop Exhaust Fan

Roof-mounted FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) fans are suitable for forced ventilation in modern building designs such as power plants, petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, and warehouse facilities. The fan is vertically installed on the roof and features a mushroom-shaped weather cap for protection against rain and snow. It is also equipped with automatically opening louver dampers, which close when the fan stops operating to reduce heat loss from indoor spaces during winter. The louver dampers are optional accessories for the fan and can be selected by users when placing orders. Both the weather cap and housing are detachable, facilitating installation and maintenance.

PRODUCT DETAILS

FRP Roof Fans Feature the Following Characteristics:

High Temperature Resistance: Ordinary FRP roof fans can withstand temperatures up to 60°C, while high-temperature resin models are limited to 100°C. In contrast, molded FRP roof fans can endure temperatures as high as 170°C. This significantly reduces the risk of softening, deformation, or even breakage of ordinary FRP centrifugal impellers under high temperatures, greatly extending the impeller’s service life.

Low Noise Operation: The streamlined airfoil blades are free from corrosion pits, helping to reduce aerodynamic noise. Additionally, the fan’s transmission and support structures are designed with noise reduction in mind. The fan operates smoothly, with low impeller inertia, precise dynamic and static balancing, and high balancing accuracy, ensuring stable and quiet performance.

High Efficiency and Energy Saving: Designed with internationally advanced airfoil profiles based on optimal aerodynamic principles, the fan blades are manufactured to precise dimensions with a smooth surface, ensuring excellent performance and efficiency.

Superior Corrosion Resistance: FRP roof fans offer exceptional corrosion resistance, enabling stable operation in outdoor environments or in the presence of steam containing corrosive components such as acids and alkalis.

  • Outer Shell And Integrated Base Plate

Outer Shell And Integrated Base Plate

Roof-mounted FRP fans feature a housing and an integrated base plate, both molded from fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) with a glass fiber content exceeding 45%. FRP offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and corrosion, is non-rusting, lightweight, and long-lasting. Its design ensures convenient installation and effectively addresses common issues such as water leakage and seepage at the installation points of some fans in the market.

  • Fiberglass Fan Blades

    Fiberglass Fan Blades

The fan blades are made of high-density, SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) molded FRP. Aerodynamically optimized through CFD simulation, the six large-diameter blades are designed for high air volume, scientific blade angles, and low drag coefficient. This design eliminates resonance noise typically associated with metal blade assemblies.

  • Permanent Magnet Synchronous Ec Frequency Converter Motor

Permanent Magnet Synchronous Ec Frequency Converter Motor

Equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous EC frequency-conversion motor, the fan delivers high efficiency, low temperature rise, and powerful output. An alternative option is a fully copper-wound asynchronous motor with IP55 rating for a more economical solution. The direct-drive system utilizes a rigid connection without any belt drive components, fundamentally eliminating power loss caused by belt slippage and common issues such as aging, slippage, or breakage of traditional belts. This also saves costs associated with purchasing belts and tensioners.

  • Rain Hat

    Rain Hat

Inside the rain hood, a specially designed airflow guide structure optimizes air distribution. While providing protection against wind and rain, it effectively reduces vortex formation and noise generation.

  • Stainless Steel Bracket

    Stainless Steel Bracket

A stainless-steel bracket ensures stable motor fixation, reduces vibration, effectively lowers noise, and offers enhanced sturdiness and corrosion resistance for higher safety. An FRP bracket option is also available for harsher environmental conditions.
